also known as a VoIP phone. This device uses internet protocol and not
circuit-switched PSTN. It joins through an Ethernet cable and not with a

dial tone, ring voltage, and the battery current. FXO, on the other hand, is
the shortened version of the Foreign Exchange Office. It is the port that
receives the analog line, instead of delivering it. It remains on phones and
fax machines along with the FXS port. The FXSGateway connects one or more sequences of a PBX to a phone system with

on a VoIP phone system.
